The Karl Heinz Beckurts Prize 2012 is awarded to my colleagues Dr. Uwe Franke, Dr. Stefan Gehrig and me for our work on 6D-Vision. If you don't know what 6D-Vision is, take a look at this fine video created by the ZDF:
The award is a great honor for me, been selected among hundreds of other projects. I'm very happy that my P.h.D. topic 6D-Vision was chosen! :)
Yesterday (8/27/2011), the german president Christan Wulff announced the three nominees for the 2011 Deutscher Zukunftspreis. Among them is the 6D-Vision Team (Dr.-Ing. Uwe Franke, Dr. rer. nat. Stefan Gehrig and Dr.-Ing. Clemens Rabe) with their project 6D Vision: Recognising Hazards Faster than the Human Eye!
The nomination is a great honour for me, been selected among hundreds of other projects. I'm very happy that my P.h.D. topic 6D-Vision was chosen! :)
